Most herbs work for me as I love eating them and using them fresh when cooking is the greatest.
The ones that I currently grow are Garlic, Rosemary, Thyme, Chives, Oregano, Basil and Lavender, and of course Parsley.
I do however think that my dogs use the Rosemary and the Lavender most. (I even rinse them off with either Rosemary or Lavender water when they are washed)
ANd my German Shepherd thinks that garlic, both the plants and the cloves taste great and she actually eats them out of the garden. :stew1:

Without a doubt garlic is my favorite. I use it in almost everything.

This year I'm starting a herb garden for the first time. I can't wait to have my own parsley and cilantro. I have planted basil for pesto. And, rosemary. I use rosemary occasionally but I just like the appearance of that plant.

I've also got mint and chamomile started. I'm freezing every orange peel I can get my hands on. I'd love to try making my own herb tea. We'll see what happens.

basil and garlic are my faves, but I get a kick out of growing lots and then using snippets from time to time.

My neighbor is growing stevia -- very sweet! He dehydrated it and ground it up, uses it in recipes. I'd like to try that.

For me, there is NOTHING quite as wonderful as being surrounded by the smell of fresh herbs growing in my 'aromatherapy garden'!

I have an assortment of highly fragrant herbs in pots all around our front porch.

The beauty of these wonderful plants immediately gets your attention as you approach the walkway to our home, but it is the luscious smells of lavender, rosemary, sage, epazote, lemon balm, oregano, thyme, and several varieties of basil that entice you to sit and stay awhile!

On evenings when the winds are mildy blowing & those delicate scents fill the air around me, I could sit there for hours!

Of course, the BEST part is being able to walk outside and pick the herbs I need when preparing meals

    Most Popular Herb

I'd have to go with Marijuana on this one... seems to be the most popular herb country wide at this point :p

    Re: Most Popular Herb

The original question was about what herb members used most...not the one most used countrywide.
