Hi, I have this growing in my garden. The tree is about 2 meters tall and wide, is soft-medium wood with large-ish green leaves. Produces flowers all year long, and produces these green pods that become beautiful enormous bell shaped flowers (pic attached) that hang. I'd love to identify it, as I have taken many successful cuttings for friends and family and would love to tell them what it is. I am from Cape Town, South Africa. We are a mediterrainean climate. Many thanks, Jason ( photo / image / picture from JasynE's Garden ) moderator's note: added a more descriptive title to topic
It appears to be a Brugmansia but I don't know which one. Possibly this one Brugmansia X candida (Angel's Trumpet) Could we see a photo of the entire plant too?
It looks like my Burgmansia.Mine turns almost orange after a few days. Is this like yours ( photo / image / picture from glendann's Garden )
Brugmansia I brought mine inside for the winter and it started to bloom. Right now it has 11 blooms open!
Oh, jealous here (in a good way). This summer I saw one in full bloom at a garden center at the beach and I made my pal turn the car around so I could see it up close. It was gorgeous. So are yours, Jason, Glenda and Netty.
Yes thats it! Thats it, yes! Lovely, thank you! Mine enjoys full sun, and is thriving. Can they also live indoors? (I am a newbie gardener).
