Is anyone else on here into recycling things and making art out of them??

I had the idea to start using my Starbucks caps in my mosaics instead of throwing them out in the trash.

Do any of you have any ideas on what else can be turned into art instead of being thrown inot a landfill????

Well, when I was a kid I used to make windchimes out of old AOL disks my dad used to get in the mail.

That is a GREAT idea--you could even paint the CD's before making them into windchimes..!

Your mosaic looks great. I really admire people who are so creative and can think of uses for stuff we usually chuck out.

    Great idea.
You might even make a few $ back if you let Starbucks
    know about your talent.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback!! I made more and have actually sold about 30 of them on the craft site ETSY! Let me know if any of you have any ideas for more recycled crafts!

Great mosaics Shawn. With a last name like DuBois would you be from Louisiana?

That's pretty well done. You should show Starbucks' corporate marketing team. Seems like it would be right up their alley.

I was serious there by the way. You might really be able to bank off that.
