I'm new here and I'm not sure this is the right forum. But I'll give it a try. A recent trip to Ecuador gave me some fantastic moth observations and photos. The problem is my lack of experience on tropical moths. Maybe someone here could give me some help. Some of them are probably not possible to identify from photo alone, so I'll leave them for now. But here you have some of the more striking species. And more will come... I would be very grateful for any help. Photographed at Bellavista Lodge, western slope, Oct. 19th 2009. Elevation about 2000 m. Adhemarius sp. ( photo / image / picture from Leif's Garden )
http://www.tandayapa.com/Moths/index.htm You might check out this website to see if any of your moths are pictured there. Sorry, I was doing a couple of things at once and forgot to proof read That means my oldest daughter just got the link to the Moths And yes the soup is delicious.
Uh... Well... This link got me to a page about taco soup! Not very helpful on moths although the soup is probably excellent.
