Only beavers inside are just the pelts on my coat! Will it encourage more blooms to cut them? Do you know about cultivating new plants? I bought these last year without much thought and reeeeeallly love them now that they are doing their thing!
I can only that cutting the hydrangeas will not encourage more blooms really. By the way Peggy here is a great page about propagating hydrangeas http://www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/propagation.html
Re: hydrangea Hi there, you need acidic soil to get the blue flowers, failing that, there are preparations available in gardening centres that will do it,or you can treat them with powdered Alum available from your chemist/pharmacy ....
