Just for fun and alleviate some winter blahs...

    1. What kind of plant would you say best describes you and why.

    2. What kind of plant would you like to be thought of as describing you and why. :D

    1. I think I am probably some kind of cactus. Low maintenance and I might be a little prickly when poked.

    2. I would like to be a plumeria. Tall, slender and sweet smelling, and dormant in the winter. :stew1:

I think I'm a catnip. Hardy, rather neutral, a bit strange-smelling, fairly low-maintenance and with blooms now and then. :D

I'd like to be a lily. Tough, tall, lovely and showy.

LOL I really didn't think much about what droopy said but your response did make me chuckle. Why indeed, droopy, inquiring minds want to know? :D

This could turn out to be a fun thread. For one thing what we view ourselves as could actually change from day to day

Edit...I just found this quote and I think I know what droopy means by that..."In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt." -- Margaret Atwood

I took one of those quizzes on line on What Flower are You...and the result was daisy. I like dasies but I think I would like to be a lovely rose. I prefer to be one that is resistant to disease & mildew, so I guess I will be a Knockout ;) . They look their best in spring and fall (my favorite seasons) and they do well alone or in a group. There are many varieties and adapt well to most environments and they tolerate the cold but love the sun! :stew1:

Re: What Kind of Plant are You? Just for fun

Heheh, at the end of the day I smell of dirt, dung, horse and more, so there's a whole strange array of scents around me. The catnip does smell a bit strange but not horrible, and it's rather soft to touch too, and a bit greyish, so I sort of felt the catnip was my garden plant alter-ego. :D

Droopy, I love it, you made my day!

Kuntrygal, if you are lavender, you are pretty, smell good and soothing to those around you. :-D

Maybe I should have entitled this post "What plant are You Today"? This really is a lot of fun. :D

Daisybeans, I anxiously await your response.

I would envision myself as something exotic like a bird of paradise, a bat flower or any one of the ones pictured at this link. http://www.strangewonderfulthings.com/Gallery.htm
In all reality, I am just a plain old daisy. Standard garden fare that always comes back. Good thing I love daisies.

I am in agreement that you should have titled this post "What plant are you today"? I for sure will have a different opinion tomorrow. LOL :D

Great topic Droopy. My cats would love you. I like lavender too Kuntrygal...hmmm...let me think...Everybody loves daisies Newfpaws. I guess I would like to be a Morning Glory. I'm best in the morning. At night, as soon as I sit down to watch something with my husband, I'm off to la-la land...just can't stay awake anymore.
