inches of snow and we will break the all time record for snow during Feb. The old record of 29 inches has stood since 1910.

Well in one way I hope you do break the record. In another though I'd like to hear that your snow is melting - slowly so that there are no floods.

In Phila/NJ area our record has been broken...a little more fell today, but thank goodness, didn't amount to very much.

It might stop someday, right? I hope? On the other hand, you're so close now, might as well break the record.

Here in Wisconsin, where we're supposed to have snow, we've had very little this winter. It's all going south...ENJOY!!!

We have gotten enough here in my part of Wisconsin but the Fond du Lac area and farther south, Racine, etc. they have been getting hit harder...he,he,he...I am ready for spring and I know we will get a lot more snow yet but with knowing it will all be melting in the months to come makes it seem a little brighter. :-D

It really is easier to take the snow when it's almost March than when it's just November, isn't it.

The record just might get broken this weekend. They are saying snow or rain or a mix on Sun night and Monday. If it's all snow they say we could get another 6 inches. And they just got all the roads cleared. It did get up to 36 today with a strong bright sun. We had a lot of melting. The sun was shining on the sensor for my wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer. It was reading 51 deg F this afternoon. I knew it wasn't that warm, but it sure made me feel good!

Well, we are at 27 1/2 officially with 2 1/2 days to go. They say tonight and Sat and Sun, we could get 1 - 3 inches more.

.....and to think we in UK complain about just a few inches of snow. I really don't know how you folks cope with it all  Well I suppose another inch is worth it if only to go into the record books :)

We've had over a meter or more than 40 inches of snow this winter. I can't find the statistics just now. It won't be that much on the ground since it packs down, but it's a lot of snow. We had one heavy snow fall over 36 hours that landed over 20 inches on us. Fortunately we haven't had many of those this winter. :D

Ok, I found them. December and January total is 155 cm or 61 inces, all snow. We've had some snow in February too, but not much.
