I saw an ad for it on TV last night and have now found a ton of sites to order it. It says huge tomatoes and tons of them but I have to be skeptical after all the pour results I saw from the Topsy Turvy.

Has anyone every grown this tomato? Does it need a ton of nutrients and fertilizer? Can I grow it in my cooler climate? Any information would be extremely useful before I drop $20 on plants and s/h.

Here is the site for those who have never heard of it. https://www.tomatogiant.com/flare/next
The lack of information is disturbing but expected. Sell, Sell, sell is the key for these companies and failure only makes them more money until people quit buying them.

I have been tempted to order this plant. I agree with you. I have seen the plant everywhere online and on infomercials. I have never met someone who has actually grown one.

My guess is that it needs really good soil to grow so fast. It might do well in a very large pot with lots of prepared soil and regular feedings. You might also be able to get it to grow well in the ground if you prepare the soil.

For a plant to grow so large so fast, I think it is going to need the conditions to be just right. Again, I have not grown one, and have never met anyone who has.

I have seen the ads for them and the words Genetically Engineered come to mind. Don't know if they are but that could explain the excessive, rapid growth too.
