I live in Everett, WA and wish to attract hummingbirds to my garden. My neighbor said she has not seen even one bird in the 30+ years she has lived in Everett. I have planted hummingbird favorites (according to various sites) honeysuckle, fushias, butterfly bush, etc. I am building a fountain/birdbath with spray.

I saw a map that shows hummingbirds in Edmonds, WA about 10 miles south of me am I being too optimistic or can I entice the little beauties to visit?

I just googled "hummingbirds in Everett, WA" and found this

The rufous hummingbirds should have arrived. There are also other citations on hummingbirds that I did not list. Sounds like you are planting the right flowers to attract them. Good luck. :stew1:

    Parience huh?

I have seen about 4-6 in Shoreline in Feb this year they were too fast to get picture and an accurate count.

I put out a feeder and my client (where I work 5 days) watched a couple come and eat. By the time I got into the dining room they were gone. But I have had to fill feeder 2x. so one of these days.....

BUT, I want them at MY home ;)
