I just cant stay away from Home Depot...A lot of their plants are on sale.. I wanted more Azaleas and bought a few today..

I saw several Magnolias, white in color. Walked away as the price was still high... I know them all at Home Depot, im a frequent flyer.
Offered them 25,00,it's sitting in my yard. I know it likes full sun, say's it will grow to 20' true?..
Any advice about keeping this healthy? I did buy Scotts soil for it..
    Thanks All

    Here's a useful link:

Since I don't know which Magnolia you've got or what climate you're in it's sort of difficult to give you any advice on how to grow them.

Oooh, it's lovely! :D Congratulations on your little tree. I'm certain that you'll have lots of pleasure from it. We could probably grow it here, judging from the hardiness zones given. Shame I haven't got room for it. *sigh*

The Magnolia would grow in Norway?Im sorry that you don't have the space, neither do I!!!!!! Just couldn't resist buying it.. Plan on getting it in the ground today with the help of strong neighborhood men!Have only one flower on it now, sad. I should have taken pictures. If it was possible i would gladly send you anything that shoots off.Just picked up twelve small seedlings of Japaneese Red Maple..Neighbors are so happy.

We've got a Magnolia in our garden already, the M. "Susan", my hubby's sweetheart. :D A friend has the M. stellata and the M. sieboldii, and other friends also grow magnolias. I'd love a white one and a yellow one, but then I'd have to cut something down first. I'll see how willing my husband is in a year or two. :stew2: He might tire of a bush or two that are growing rather too well. :D
