I've been having chest pains (near or IN my heart - not sure which) lately and pains in my arms and legs. It feels as if my veins are clogged (or arteries)? I'm not sure if blood is circulating all the way through my body. I get sharp pains in my hands and arms, and lately, around the front of my legs (shins) and around my ankles. At night, if I lay on one side too long, the arm I'm laying on gets tingly and numb as if the blood circulation was cut off for an hour or so. I'm wondering if there is a problem w/ my blood circulation. Is there an herb I can take for this? Or a type of food that will help this?

A little of my medical history: The only meat I've been eating is chicken, about once a week. I don't eat a lot of fatty foods, I don't have caffeine. But I had hyperthyroidism for almost 10 years.

Have you been to a medical doctor to see what is causing your pains and problems? There are many things that can cause the symptoms you describe and pretty much all of them are life threatening. Poor blood circulation is not something that you should start treating with herbs without the supervision of a medical doctor or licensed herbalist.

Totally agree with Toni on this one, I'd see a doctor soon before worrying about herbal treatments.

You should go straight to your doctor or ER. Those symptoms DO NOT sound good. We aren't here to scare you, but hopefully encourage you to seek medical attention promptly. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.

It would really if you would seek medical help. Although eating vegetable and high fiber food will help you reduce the level of your blood pressure, it would be helpful if you see your doctor for proper medication. One of the common of the herbs are garlic and The Hawthorn Berry. The Hawthorn berries is known to be effective in treating hypetension. You can even plant this indoors.

Do not pass go. With those symptoms it would be advisable to see a doctor asap and worry about the herbs later.

I agree, you should go see doctor first. Also, do you exercise regularly? Do you eat healthy? maybe ask the doctor if there are any tea's that help your circulation.
