Redheaded woodpecker landed today.

Wow does one have to be fast with these fellows.
I kneeled on the floor to hide from it .

Nice shots Barb. I know what you mean when you say you have to be quick...mine move around to the back of the tree/feeder when I have the camera ready!

 

Very strong looking beak, that's for sure. You do a good job with the birds, Barb.

 

Good capture...they scare easily. I had male & female that use to come several times a day but I have not seen them lately.
