Last week we had a total of 4 1/4 inches of rain. So far this week we have had 1 1/4 inches. Everything is growing great, including the grass which I can't mow because it is like a wet spong. They say more rain tonight and Wed., then more on Sat.

You do know where you can send that extra rain don't you???? Trouble is those storms are not going south, they are the ones that swept by us to the west the other day and were heading north east.

Enjoy what you can while you have it tho, I thought we would have a rainy spring but that didn't happen.

Dry as a bone here in Essex, even after some rain last week. The recent storms that hit central England missed us altogether. Looks like I am back to watering. Hope you get a dry spell so you can get your grass cut.

It finally stopped raining every day. Have had 5 1/2 inches of rain in 2 weeks. The average for the whole month is only 3 inches.

We had more rain today. Tomorrow is the beginning of a heat wave.

Half your luck! We've had only 20 mm (3/4") so far this winter in Central Victoria (Australia). We only get 550mm per year here, but most of it should fall about now. Oh well! Another year another drought. Makes for tiresome gardening and constant redesigning. 5 and 1/2" of rain and I wouldn't know what to do other than take the clothes off and dance!
