    Good Morning. We had thunderstorms with a lot of rain but it is sunny out today.Our grass is really growing fast and needs cut again, it is hard to keep up with all the rains. June is supposed to be hot and dry but we just have the hot. wannabe

    Morning all. Do I really have to say the words...you all should know what the weather is here, been the same for over a month.
    Even the tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico isn't likely to have any impact on us.... it will be all east and south of us. :rolleyes:

    Hello everyone
    Expected temps for today is a low of 11 and a high of 19 deg C.
    I suspect that is kinda OK for the middle of winter.
    My plans for today include a 5 km jog and some cycling (got to start cycling as well). It is just too cold to start with the swimming.
    Just wish I could pay some real hands-on attention to my garden - because it is a collection of weeds at the moment.

    Its warm here and pouring rain.

    We had some crazy weather here yesturday....tornadoes and an earthquake.......very very freaky!!

    Good Sunday morning all. Currently 17°C and foggy.
    I'm not sure what I'm doing today. I have some housework to do and then a few gardens to weed and deadhead. Later today I'll pick up my son who has been gone on a class trip since Thursday. We miss him!

    Morning all. The rain we had on Thurs evening is just a long ago memory for the plants, so watering every other day is back in my schedule.

    Just took hubby to the airport for a trip to Chicago, he will be home Thurs afternoon.
    Youngest daughter leaves Tuesday morning for two weeks in California.
    And I get to travel too...I make three round trips to the airport this week....something just doesn't seem right about this :rolleyes:

    GOOD morning all. We have had rain, 3.75 inches/9.5cm since yesterday mid-afternoon. The first storm rolled thru with lots of lightening, thunder and very heavy rain for a couple of hours and our electricity was out for most of that time. After the electricity came back on (outage caused by a traffic accident a couple of blocks away} we had a steady, soaking rain for the rest of the evening.

    This morning I have to take my youngest to DFW International airport for her trip to California. I don't like driving there, especially when there will still be some going-to-work traffic on the road.
