Dinner plate size. My Big Boy tomato at 6 ft tall and 18 maters on it. But non starting to ripen. My Rutgers Heirloom at 5 ft tall and 30 maters on it but still non showing a hint of color!
Pretty Hibiscus, I miss mine they both passed on to their next life over the winter :'( That tomato is huge! Maybe it hasn't been hot enough for them to ripen yet?
It's been up in the 80's for the past 5 weeks, but this week it is only getting into the low to mid 70's. Go Figure! Tonight they say a low in the 40's for us.
What a beauty that hibiscus is - a real show stopper. Those tomato plants look very lush so here's hoping you get some hot wather to ripen the fruits.
Your Hibiscus is amazing Capt! I have Big Boy tomatoes too, but they are no where near that size. They do have a few green tomatoes on them
Our normal frost free date is May 15th, but on 1 may I always check the 15 day forcast and if there are no frosts forcast then in the ground they go. These went is on May 1st. But I did cheat on the big boys some, it had 2 maters on it when I planted it!
My maters each get a 1/2 gallon of Miracal Grow fertilizer mix a week. I think that is why they do so well. Also we have had a lot of rain since I planted them too.
