Just curious if anyone has ever had a carnivorous plant garden and what plants you would recommend for a temperate climate. I am in zone 7am and i am looking to start a small full sun carnivorous plant garden just to try something different. Even if you don't have one and you have a little bit of knowledge about it or a recommendation, please share. Thank you!
You could contact the Carnivorous Plant Organization and they will be able to tell you exactly which plants will do best in your area. Here is their website: http://www.carnivorousplants.org/ I grow sundew and pitcher plants in my garden here in Scotland and they do very well.
Here is a site that lists lots of sites specific to carnivous plants and their preservation and gardening. I know some are native to our area in the Puget Sound of Washington State. Fascinating. http://www.world.org/weo/carnivorousplants
