    Maybe someone in your area rears them for their eggs and one escaped. A very pretty little bird which I think EJ will enjoy seeing. :-D

    I thought that there was just the one, But when it flew there were 4 others up in the tree.

    About 5 years ago we had a covey of about 30 come through here. They stayed 3 or 4 days and then moved off. Haven't seen any since. They do have a lovely call.

    Gorgeous. A lot of people here keep bobwhites for their eggs as they are a very friendly bird. Very cute.

    What a treat to see them, and get a photo! to boot. I live in subdivison, lots of wood fenced back yards. We never get the honor of their presence, your so blessed.
