fast growing leafy green plant

This seems to be growing very quickly. I wasn't sure if it was some kind of weed or here on purpose. It's very large now, maybe waist high. No flowers or anything right now. We have only been here a month so I don't know what it looks like at different times of year.

Not certain, but your photo reminds me of my "Weigela" bush, it grows fast like a weed!

Mine bloomed sometime in early May I believe it was. They can also bloom a second time.Mine probably won't because it was trimmed back after flowering.
I started a second Weigela from a single stem cutting a couple of seasons ago. It's about 3-4 ft tall now. It had just a couple of flowers, so maybe it just needs to grow a little more is all.
