Very nice pics. There's a link in the how-to section of this forum that will help you resize/shrink your pics for here. I've used it many times.

I love the soft look of the Corrida lily. Too bad about the rose. My husband once pulled up a newly planted grape vine and a row of green beans for a weeds. I scared him into staying out of the garden. :D I was dumb and young then.

um...do you guys think theres any chance the bush will fill out again? or should I pull it up (like I did the Yews cause mom cut them up too) and put a new bush in? I really liked it, I thought the size was just fine (it was about 6'x6' or so)

I think the bush will fill back in Bip. You could prune the rest a bit smaller so that it fill in more evenly.

Wow, Bip, you have really been working and the gardens look fabulous! I've discovered yarrow this year too. I agree with Netty -- if you trim the burning bush so it's more even, it will fill in OK, maybe even be prettier. Yews, you're right, they don't fill in so well if you trim them back too far. I let a friend trim one for me last year and ... well, let's just say, it looked like he took lessons from your mom.
