I hope someone can answer my questions and also name this plants.

I want to ask if this plants are all indoors or they can survive outdoors ? Any tips on how to care for them too. Thank you so much for any response. I am such a wannabe gardener and I know I need to learn a lot of things.

Put a :-D after that first sentence not a frown....if you don't ask questions you will never learn. Answering questions helps us all learn more about plants and gardening, even those who have been gardening for many years.

The only one I can name for sure is the Sansevieria trifasciata 'Gold Hahnii' (Mother-in-law Tongue, Snake Plant) in your first photo the plant on the right.

I have seen them all in garden centers in the indoor plants section. They can survive outdoors in shade but will be killed by a frost so if your area gets cold winters they will need to be brought back inside. I have several indoor plants out in my shade garden, most are treated an annuals and replaced each spring because I just don't have any indoor space for them.

The one on the left appears to be a Dieffenbachia. Can be grown outdoors depending on the climate. I'm sure a Google search will give you all the details.

My mom kept the other one "Mother In Laws Tongue" outdoors. She just made sure it was covered when there was a freeze.

The reddish one looks familiar.. but I can't think of the name!

An annual is a plant that lives out it's entire life in one growing season. Some will drop seeds that will sprout next year and create another plant, but the parent plant dies.

A perennial is a plant that returns from it's roots or bulb every year. It will usually go dormant, meaning the above ground foliage will die as a result of a heavy frost or freeze, but the roots are still alive and will produce new growth the next spring. In warmer climates some perennials are also evergreen which means the foliage will remain green year round

Most indoor plants are not cold hardy and if you put them outside the first frost or freeze of winter will kill them, those you will have to replace every year. Or if you have room, bring them indoors before the temperature drops too low and put them back outside the next year.

Check out the Members Gallery, that's where everyone posts photos of their plants and gardens.

Your red leaved plant could be either be a cordyline or phormium. I think Cheryl is right with her ID of the first plant it looks like Dieffenbachia Bowmannii possibly the variety called Camilla. The third is definitely Mother in Law's Tongue. :-D
