My cup and saucer bloom, anyone else raise these?

Here is my favorite cup an saucer plant. It gets a deeper purple in some. So lovely.
Sure hope it matures into seed before frost.

Oh! I saw these growing all over the place in the jungle part of the Andes in Peru around Machu Picchu last month. They are really lovely, I agree. I was wondering what they were called -- what is their plant name, Barb?
