My dad found this along fence row... leaves like grape leaf

    My dad found this and I have searched high and low on the internet and can't seem to find anything quite like it. The leaves remind me of a grape leaf but those little starlike, throny fruit thingys are really throwing me for a loop. Any guesses as to what this might be???? Thanks for your help!

    I would guess as wild Vitis of some sort, anyway to see a close up of the fruit?
    Also, does it vine or put out tendrils to cling to the fence?

    OK Here are all the pics I have of it! I'm not sure of where it grew or how... He just took a sample of it and brought it to me and said "can you find out what this is???" Sorry I wish I had more info!!

    Sicyos angulatus, try that one and see if it fits!
