I have been thinning out and cleaning up the garden but they are forecasting a hard frost in the next few days. These flowers have survived a few mild frosts but I will pull the remaining impatiens tomorrow because they are a mess to deal with after a hard frost! I can't believe you call that a garden. It's so lovely and reminds me of a well-kept park. You've got so many nice colours still, lucky you. I hope they will last for another few weeks. The frost can take itself somewhere else.
You live in splendid surroundings. The colours of autumn and the remaining blooms are delightful to see. You guys have selected a really nice-looking place to live....and now we can benefit from the visual aspect too! Thanks.
What a beautiful garden you have. So much colour - the flowers and the trees are just beautiful. The shots of the frost and fog are stunningly atmospheric.
I can't think of words to describe those photos! I'll just say "Ditto" to everyone else's responses. I'm going back and look again... and again!
Gail, Your garden is still so beautiful! This is a bittersweet time of year for me. I feel sad when I pull out the annuals that have been so pretty. As always, your photos are great!
