    What a great photo!
    We have Stellars in Colorado at our cabin. They are very active, and can be very entertaining.
    They do tend to be sort of bullies around the other birds though, much like the Blue Jays here in NE. And they certainly love a good picnic!
    All that being said, I like them!
    Oh! there's one outside the window right now, pigging sunflower seeds and chasing off the Chickadees...

    My, that's a lovely bird! I love the blue colour, and the tuft on top of it's head. We haven't got a provincial bird. The national bird is the Cinclus cinclus.

    No, my camera's too slow and the zoom is no good either. :( If you check Wikipedia you'll find it.
