Tea I drink hot tea in winter and iced tea in summer and lots of water between. I just stocked up on tea last week. But, it won't last long. dooley
I wouldn't quite say need, but I sure enjoy my hot cup of coffee in the morning and on through lunch time, then in the evening before dinner, along with cheese and crackers, a couple oz. of "Jack" (Jack Daniels). Tom
the bf and I like to start our mornings off with a travel mug (we take it to work) of hot chocolate Ive also started drinking tea (different kinds like Lemon and rose hips, peppermint, chamomile adn Sleepytime tea ) recently
Coffee. More coffee, and even more coffee. I like my coffee as I like my men: dark, strong and dangerous. I'm really a tea person, but sort of never get round to putting the water kettle on. In the afternoons/evenings it's water or sugarfree lemonade. In spring and summer I also drink birch leaf tea or other herbal teas I concoct from what I've got growing outside. In winter I like cocoa. When my darling husband's had enough of me he adds cognac to my cocoa and make me another mug or two. I fall asleep, he's happy. Some evenings I like a glass of wine or a liqueur. A pear cider will also do.
A cup of tea or fruit juice starts my day. I used to drink coffee like 7-8 mugs daily but I was told to kick the addiction by my doc.
Every day must begin the same... feed the kitties, then a big steaming mug of English Breakfast tea with vanilla soymilk. So good!
Living in Ireland, its a mug of tea to start the day,and every time i take a break thereafter its either Cranberry juice or Pomegranate juice.
Hot peach tea, 2 cups in morning, and the rest of the day iced green tea that has lemon, lime and orange slices thrown in main jug for slow flavoring.
Usually about 3 cups of coffee in the morning, water throughout the day, and an after-work cup of coffee as well.
As my wife would say, I can't say something without telling a story, it must go along with my white hair. On my 12th birthday according to a family tradition I was awakened by my parents with a tray of coffee cups, each with a version of the afore mentioned beverage. Coffee black, with sugar, with cream, and with sugar and cream, I tasted each and decided on cream and sugar. It stayed that way until while in the military service, a coffee fund in our maintenance shop was always running out of cream and sugar. I switched to black coffee and my beverage of choice has stayed that way ever since. As for the size of my coffee cup.......that is another story. Jerry
