Warmer weather is coming toooooo darn slow! The cold and the snow is getting old, so I decided to get a jump on spring and bought a couple of new plants today in 6 degree weather :-D

This might be a seed pod on the spider, but I'm not positive....

You've got a couple of lovely, healthy plants there Bluewing. :-D We've just got rid of all our snow and I've been out filling up pots and planting bulbs in them. I'll transplant them into the garden when the ground thaws out. It may not be spring yet but we gardeners do get impatient to have some green stuff around us don't we?

Hey Bluewing - how far upstate are you? I'm in Dutchess County and am sick of the cold and snow, too. Nice looking plants!

    Thanks Eileen :-D

Good, I see I'm not the only one who wants to get their hand dirty early. The only bulb plants I have are yellow crocuses in the garden. The bag they came in read, "all different colors" Oh well, still pretty.
Your lucky your snow is gone, we still have a few inches on the ground from the last snowfall, and there was talk of a possible Nor'easter! Oh please no!

    Thanks plantgoddess
Your not a million miles away, although your in the cold like we are I'm sure. I'm located about 45 minutes East of Corning (home of corningware) in Broome County :D

One of my sons graduated from Binghamton University and is now a grad student at Cornell. When I was very young, we lived in Endicott! Beautiful country! We'd like to take a trip to see our son and maybe visit the Finger Lakes wine trail(s). After the snow melts, naturally!

I am slowly repotting plants during this miserable weather! I's nice to have something green and/or blooming.

It's a small world! My brother also went to Cornell. That's an hour away from here. I live up on a hill not far from the Endicott - Vestal bridge:)
As you know, the mountains around here can put on a beautiful show of fall colors :D

Just discovered a small infestation of scale on a bunch of baby spider plants that were given to me a while back :scheming: They all rooted and have grown a lot bigger already, now this! Grrrr. The oil treatments should smother everything in it's path and all will be well again. Those darn bugs :'(
