Ive been living in Spain for the last 8 years now, 4 years ago my husband I bought a 200 year old run down Farm in central France, we Plan to move to France this April and begin the renovation of the building there. I have 4 untouched for 100 years lovely acres of garden which I hope to turn into a Fab Cottage garden. I grow as much as I can from seed as I find there is nothing more satisfying than watching them grow.

Welcome to the forum, and we are all anticipating sharing your renovation project, especially the garden.
We are doing the same thing, but in Central Texas on 9 1/2 acres. We've been at it for almost four years, and have never been happier nor dirtier. You're in for a fun time with lots of rewards.

    Hi Carolinek,

Welcome to GardenStew from Chelmsford MA, USA. I wonder what would be growing in a hundred year old garden? Looking forward to pictures.
