You new houseplant looks good, I have been thinking about getting some of those too.
I have lost many seedlings in the past from being knocked over and broken too....and I don't even have a cat to blame

Your photograph takes me back to when my eldest son used to grow Living Stones Jen. They are remarkable and attractive plants. :-D

Sorry to hear about your Zinnia. I hope the two you managed to rescue grow well for you.

I hadnt even known we had em at the Depot, but a customer came up wanting a basket to put some plants in, and when I saw the plants he had (I think they were Lithops but a different variety or something) I -had- to get some, they were too cute to pass up!

Lithops are cool! They'll be fun to watch as they grow.

Sorry to hear about the zinnias. But, don't stay mad at your cat. Zinnias are replaceable. :)

Im not mad anymore, I picked him up and cuddled him about a half hour ago, and he tucked his head under my chin and purred xD That seems to be a new thing for him, he never cuddled me when he was younger (I say that like hes old, hes not even 1 yet LOL)

Anyway, I got thinking about planting some more seeds tonight...is it too early?

The cat probably saw something new to be curious about. I hope the remaining two find a cat proof area. Nice Lithops, they have an interesting story of survival from South Africa.

My Living Stone isn't living anymore!
I need to replace it. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm glad to hear that you two made up. :)

Shortly after I bought my first house (many years ago), I planted a huge variety of flowers around the backyard. I had a shade garden, one in full sun, plus lots of bulbs--I mean A LOT of flowers. Then, I got a puppy...

What I mean to say is that I understand your frustration. But, those cute furballs have a way of making up with us, don't they?

I love your cute Living Stones. I have always thought those were a curious, interesting plant.
It is so true that we forgive our pets so easily when they are naughty. They don't even know they do naughty things sometimes :D
I can't count how many times I've had to haul out the vacuum to clean up dirt in my plant room. Chloe just seems to have to rearrange the soil in the pots occasionally.
