I guess my hubby is going to have to tie my hands when we go to a lowes store!! Because I can't can't pass up flowers and bulbs, But he should be happy about one thing i do look for sales, Doesn't that make you husbands feel better when we buy things? LOL We just have the need for dirt and something to put in it.

Margie, I just KNEW you wouldn't be able to stop at one $4 rose bush! I'm so proud of you--you have shown your true gardening colors :smt041 .
Only two $4 rose bushes? You are still showing some restraint. There's a 12 step program to help you get over that . . . .

I have eleven rose bushes so you can still have a few more. You never have enough rose bushes. I had nine or ten at the last house where we lived. I just planted four lilac bushes. You have to have more than one so they won't get lonely and stop blooming.

That's a very tempting sale! I don't think I could have passed it up either. I say buy all you want! Just tell your hubby that with all the roses you'll be growing... that's less he has to buy for you on Valentines, Birthday, Anniversary, etc!

Margie honey, the 12 step program is to help you get over any sense of guilt about buying plants!
At $4, go for it! If you run out of room, just ship the extra roses to me!

A true-blue rose? I didn't know there was such a thing. Can't wait for the picture!

I echo others here--good for you! I don't believe there's any such thing as too many flowers. :stew2:
