Good to see your garden is blooming on time Jon. Nice spring pictures. Somewhere under a foot of New England snow are a bunch of crocus and daffodils screaming to see sunlight. :)

Nice pics, FF---and such welcome colours. I'll bet those hycainths smell pretty nice, too.
Your Daff looks like it has more flowers waiting in the wings.

My hyacinths and daffodils still have a way to go but I do have masses of crocus flowering alongside my snowdrops. Isn't it nice to see all the spring flowers brightening up our gardens. :-D Your henbit is a lovely colour FF.

How on earth did you get that wonderful photo of henbit? We have it growing all over, and I never really appreciated the flower until I saw your picture.
Thank you for a glimpse of your spring!

Either I have never seen Henbit or I don't recognize it when I do see it. Or I rip it out as a weed and ignore it. I will have to look when the snow disappears. USDA map has it growing everywhere.

Thanks everyone! I will post more pictures as the garden progresses.

Jerry - Hopefully your snow will melt soon so you will soon have your flowers coming up and be able to see them. The Henbit grows everywhere. The flowers are kind of small though. Usually before Spring it, there will be fields of purple and it is all the Henbit.

Sjoerd - Oh the Hyacinths smell wonderful. I don't even have to be near them to smell them. The Daffodil has many blooms on it now and looks great.

Eileen - I think I'm going to have to get some Snowdrops. :p Don't you just love Crocus flowers? Thanks about the Henbit, it grows wild around the yard which just brings in more color. Other people in the neighborhood consider it a weed, but I really like it so I let it grow until the grass needs to be cut.

Marlingardener - It was not easy. Since the flowers are so small, I had to get really close and use zoom to get that picture. It took many tries. I never noticed that it was fuzzy on top until I took the picture. :p

Well, I have been missing this post and sorry for it. I love the photos of all those Crocus, I keep telling myself I am going to try some but come fall I never seem to get them bought and in the ground.

Very good photo of the Henbit, that has always been one of my favorite wildflowers. They keep my yard in color all winter long, this year I have several pots of them around the front and back yard that the birds planted for me last year. It is hard to explain to some non-gardener types that they are a wildflower, grow only in the cooler weather and will die off once the temps start heating up so there really is no need to get the chemicals out.

What a lovely sight! You give me hope that spring might make an appearance here too, very soon.
