I am looking at using these as a hedge wall for my property in TX. Though I can't find much in the way of info. Has any one used them for this before. Or even planted just one? I am planting them about 2.5 feet apart from each other. Any info on these plants would be great. Thanks in advance.
Yea a response, I'm very board at work! Thank you, I have looked at that post before. I am looking for more long term info on the plants.
Red Robin Hood is a musk rose, grows to 3-5' tall. The width is about 3', so planting them 2.5' apart is too close. RRH is a rebloomer, resistant to blackspot and mildew. If you want to prune them, do so early in the season, about Valentine's Day. I think they would be as hardy as the Knock-out roses in our area (Texas).
