hey Well i have not been a gardener since now but i have suddenly got some interest in gardening as hobby. I am ready for my lawn snow to melt away to start off a fresh garden
Hi LuckyCarrot, glad you joined us here on GardenStew. What kind of garden do you plan on starting? Any questions you have about getting started don't hesitate to ask, we were all beginners at one time so we don't mind answering questions. Between now and digging time there are plenty of gardening things you can do to get ready....find out what your hardiness zone is, watch the movement of the sun to determine where the sunny and shady spots are, check out our Plant pages to see what you can grow in your yard. I think you will soon find that your garden is not simply a hobby, it will become an obsession like it has for the rest of us.
A warm welcome to you LuckyCarrot from West Lothian in Scotland. :-D I just know you're going to love it here as much as we all do. Don't be afraid to ask questions as we really enjoy helping each other out.
Welcome Lucky, and I can guarantee this is the friendliest, most helpful, and most interesting gardening forum one can find! What kind of gardening interests you? What plants do you like and where do you want to grow them--in containers, raised beds, garden beds? Let us know what you plan, where you plant and how it grows!
It's so much fun to start a new hobby... and gardening is one that will keep you busy... and happy! welcome aboard.
