This one just moved in a week or ten days ago. Don't you like those horns? It isn't a clear picture because I leaned over the fence. She lifted her head to look at me at just the wrong time. She's friendly enough. Chance doesn't think she belongs yet though. Chance sits and stares at her and barks if she gets too close to the fence.

Nothing like a new animal moooving into the neighborhood to shake up the routine.

What a pleasant-looking neighbour. Does she have a name? She looks quite young.

I sure wouldn't want to meet her/him in the dark, but this kind of neighbor keeps the riff raff away, I think. Thanks for sharing.

Cattle make the nicest neighbors! They are generally quiet, sometimes have adorable calves, and can be taught to come to the fence to get treats.
You have a fine new neighbor there, Dooley!

I like your neighbour, Dooley. I'd love to trade it for one of mine. :D I'm certain yours is a lot more pleasant to be around.

I saw Tammy outside today and asked the cow's name. It is Fancy! The breed is called Dexter. I don't think I know about that one myself. We were a little leery when it moved in because the fence isn't made for cows but she leaves it alone. When I take the vegetable peels, etc out to the goats she is right there to get her share. Sometimes if I don't have enough peels I stand and pull grass and weeds and toss over the fence. They have their share of grass and weeds but mine are better.
