Baby Robins! pic added

    This nest is on top of my moms porchlight. I didnt think the mom would stay because this door gets used often, but she did...

    Later, one of my coworkers was asked to pick up a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest in the garden center, and he put it back in. So of course I had to take a pic ;) Ugly/cute lil thing, aint it?
    I think its a starling...

    The porchlight seems to be the ideal place for bringing up babies. Those three certainly seem well fed and healthy.
    Maybe with the door being used often it helps to keep preditors away. What a wise mum. :-D

    Smart mom, nice pix of the babies, our Robin chose a Japanese Holly to make her nest. Last year the babies hatched and the next day they were gone. This year I have surrounded the nest with chicken wire in hopes of thwarting the neighbors feline menace. Time will tell.
