It's amazing what 180 miles south can make. They are so far ahead of us in the season. All the wet weather has made the gardens beautiful this year. Gardening is a hobby my sil, mil, and I share, so we enjoy visiting each others' gardens (and shopping for plants).

I thought this was very creative. The old porch posts got recycled into a trellis.

I also like the way they used local rocks at benches.

This rose bush at the right must have been gorgeous a few days back, just missed it, still pretty even now.

Oh my, such lovely flowers, and interesting garden decor! So, which of you three has the greenest thumb?

    I think it's a 3-way tie! We all have a green thumb.

Walked up the street to sil's house and took a few there too.

A bonanza of color in each garden, it's nice to see someone else's garden layout.

What delightful fotos of those two gardens. --they are loaded with such an attractive variety of bloomers.
I agree that the use of the bit of porch ironwork makes a very nice trellis--sturdy too.
The rusty wheels are also quite nice to see.
