    There was a butterfly flitting around the Lilac's a few days ago so I went in to get my camera. It let me take one photo and then it flew away.

    Anyone know what kind of Butterfly this is?

    Beautiful! Toni how did you know what sex he was? I can tell the difference between male and female birds but butterfly just have me stumped.

    lovely Lilac,..lovely butterfly,..the Lilac always reminds me of my childhood,..we had Lilac in our garden back then.

    What a wonderful foto of a stunning butterfly.
    That is so nice to see. We have similar butterflies here, but they do not usually get this far up north.

    Ohmygosh, that's a lovely butterfly! :D We've got lilacs but our butterflies are very small and boring compared to your beauty.

    Beautiful picture you took, ...and I do love the smell of Lilacs ...and lucky you to have a beautiful swallowtail enjoying them.
