    picked this today...first time picking the green beans. also, first tomato of the year! along with assorted cucumbers, and eggplant (ichiban), and a pimento pepper i stepped on by accident, but i washed and will devour.

    Lovely harvest, and it's only the first of many. You had best invest in some canning jars, or find a bunch of hungry friends!

    Just goes to show how strange the weather is this year! I don't even have a bloom on my tomatoes yet!!! :rolleyes:

    Looks great. I have never grown egg plants well and yours looks lovely. Hopefully I will get some french beans soon, although the deer seems to like them as much as me and has decimated the plants. :(
