Hi Suzie and a very BIG welcome to the GardenStew forums. Dont't worry if you find anything confusing we are here to help remember I think you sent me a private message by mistake. Here is what you sent me : I need to do some reading and I will be back to answer your question By the way, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself here: http://www.gardenstew.com/viewtopic.php?t=3
Are the leaves still intact on the tulip bulbs? If so you can plant them right now because when the leaves die back they will make food for next years blooms
This page has some nice info about tulip bulbs http://www.tesselaar.net.au/growingguides/tulipbulb.asp Basically it suggests storing them in a cool, dry spot with temperatures of 15-23c. It also suggests using old stocking for holding the bulbs :=)
Thank you. The site you sent me was very informative on tulips. ~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~** Suzie
Don't know if it's too late to help, i just joined this morning... to store your lily bulbs just dig them up or put the pot you have them in in a cool, dark place so they can store their energy and then in spring when your soil is workable divide them if you need to and replant.
