Good Morning - another lost soul looking for a home and this site has come highly recommended. BHG then LHJ closed down their forums, leaving a bunch of orphans. My alias is Merrybelle, retired since 06, and I'm in southern middle Tennessee, about 30 miles from the Alabama state line. Gardening zones lower 6/upper 7 work best for me. I'm looking forward to exploring all this site has to offer. mb
Merrybelle, welcome home! This is a very friendly site, filled with gardeners who know their stuff and how to share their knowledge in the kindest, nicest way. We are in central Texas, zone 8a or b, depending on how the wind blows. We have a small farm with flowers, herbs and vegetables, bee hives and chickens, and we are owned by a calico cat. I want a mule, but my husband has put his foot down on that idea. We'll see . . . .
Hi Merrybelle, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. Lots of great information here and wonderfully friendly people. Some of us have a quirkiness that we like to call adorable but we are harmless We would love to see photos of your garden and local scenery.

Hi Merrybelle, welcome to GardenStew from Chelmsford MA. Forums, gardens, blogs, plants, we have them, there is something for everyone. Welcome aboard. Jerry
WoW, I feel all warm and fuzzy. Thank you all for the wonderful welcome. This is going to be a fun board - I am a bit on the quirky side myself. It's interesting to see that this board is International - how awesome is that!!! I have relatives & friends in Texas too. I've had company this morning, so household chores have been a bit neglected (why do they come in the morning before you've done your thing anyway?). The vacuum is calling to me and although I've tried to ignore it, it won't shut up.......but I'll be back later to read and view. Thanks again. mb
Hi Merrybelle, it is me AANightowl from BHG and LHJ... I am so glad to see you. I hope the others make it here too. They have some funky smilies on this one. Hugs for ya.
Hi Marybelle-- Yes this is a great site! Knowledgeable & friendly gardeners, how could it be better? I am from Massachusetts, welcome aboard!
