In the 3rd picture marked Titan Sphinx....look in the flowers to see a small creature with a white band on its back...toward the top of the phlox. Look close

More great pics Sherry. I love that last one of the snowberry clearwing hummingbird moth. Oh and I spotted the little 'whatever' on the phlox but only because you told us where to look.
I looked real close,..yep i found that creature with the white stripe,..hard though. Fantastic pictures,..i also always enjoy them.
The moths are so fast, I haven't learned to get the wings yet...I guess if I had more of them to practice on I would. I had sent in the moths to 2011 wisconsinbutterflies.org and the person that runs the site thought the one with the white band was a titan. He was just so much larger and had the white stripe . I don't have time to reset my camera because they take off. Does anyone know of a program you can get to circle things and write names on your pictures? Then I could of circled the little guy so people would notice him.
Hi Sherry, there is a program that allows you to do almost anything you want with your pictures and its Free,..i am using it at present to view and re size all my pictures for the forum. You can Re Size,..Crop,..Add Lines,..Text,..Rectangles,..Highlight Areas,..and Watermark,..an untold amount of simple to do items. I mostly use it to view all my pictures,..it will show all of your picture files,..you can use the magnify glass to scrutinize small objects,..it will also allow you to see all the information about your picture,..date,camera type,if you used flash and so forth,..as i mentioned its Free,..they do ask for a donation,..but you do not have to do so in order to use the program,..its trouble free. I have used it for the past 7 years,..no problems,..if you need to know anything about it i will be pleased to help. Sherry8: love the humming bird moth. I had the privilege several years ago to see the one that is the same color as the Ruby Throated humming bird. At first I though it was a humming bird until it came right up alongside of me and I saw it was a moth. I haven't seen many since then. Thanks for the great pic's.
Thank you everyone... I have been seeing the clearwing hummingbird moth quite a bit now. Philip...thank you for the website...I have 2 places besides here and my computer with so many pictures so I wouldn't need it for storing. I will check it out ...I just think it would be so nice to be able to circle things you want people to notice in a busy picture.
