Nice afternoon.

This morning was cloudy, but at noontime it had cleared out and the sun came out. So I mowed the grass and mulched leaves all at the same time.

 

Although we are miles apart CK, it was a very nice afternoon here as well and I too mowed the grass and did some tidying in the garden, very satisfying, it looks like we are going to have an Indian summer with a bit of luck.

I spent the afternoon turning my compost and spreading it in the veggie garden

 

I also trimmed the the Rose of Sharon bush. Whacked it back to about 2 ft. tall. It was approaching 10 ft. Some of the limbs were almost 3 inches thick.

 

It was windy and hot here again today. I did a bit of watering and outside work early and spent the afternoon in the house.
