Astronomy is the study of stars and planets. Astrology is the study of how the planets affect people and events.
One most people find boring. The other most people are fascinated by. No offence to astrologers out there.
The problem is that Astrologers now have 3 brand new planets to deal with. I used to think there was something in astrology but the trouble is there are too many get-outs with different ways that things can be interpreted, so I'm not so sure at all now, Would love to think that there's something greater and bigger than what we currently know as existence though.
Hi Wild Bird welcome to the 'Stew' Actually this is a very interesting point. I've heard that since astronomers have found an entity bigger then Pluto they are considering un-declaring it as a planet. What will this mean for astrologers? Food for thought.
Thanks for the welcome. From what I can remember, Pluto is considered to be a planet of death and rebirth...ending and renewal and similar stuff. Maybe if pluto ceases to be a planet it'll be a sign that there may be some way coming to avoid death...maybe a new eternal life wonderdug?
I also heard that they were going to start rewriting the new school text books to include the new planets they have found. I have a hard time keeping up with the ones we already knew about and I'm homeschooling!!!lol!
Pluto was named for the god of the underworld, so I guess even if the planet looses its "official" status it could still be as effective as it has been. Sooo, still no escaping death :-?
