Springtime here is really happening, we have warm breezes and up to 30 c. already. The warmth brings the cactus to life again and this morning this cactus called....cryptocereus anthonyanus has arrived,if I just call it zig zag cactus it will look and sound better.

Wow, that is a spectacular looking bloom. I can see why you would want to call it the Zigzag Cactus.

I wouldn't laugh! I happen to think it is incredibly spectacular looking. I would like to have one myself and I don't like cacti all that much, My mom is always showing me her christmas cactus and i have to admire the thing because it is hers and she loves it. Yours I admire because I like it.

Chocolate... you have the most beautiful plants... and most unusual. The only thing I would laugh at is if someone tried to say "cryptocereus anthonyanus" three times really fast!
    :D
I think I like Zig Zag much better.

I have a few of these plants and they are very beautiful. We drag everyone into the greenhouse when it decides to bloom.

If you see a big grin on my face it's not because I'm laughing. I'm simply happy to see such beautiful flowers on your cactus and love the name ZigZag. :D

Nice cactus indeed. I'm envious. :D Of course I can't grow cacti outside here, but I would dearly like your spring just about now. :D

Good morning and thanks everyone....no it does not have any perfume, but the beautiful flowers that cactus produce are well worth the wait and the prickles arent they?
