But my bougainvillea is, it is summer[almost] here now and the tough plants that love the heat are showing off, these Bs. in particular are putting on quite a performance. They shade our side verandah from the heat in the afternoon, plus put on a show for the passers by.They need hardly any care, the verandah is up 12/15ft and their roots are under shade but they dont complain and dont like to be watered so I dont. WOW you were so quick, I was just viewing my post and Bingo! I thought all you guys were in bed now, but it seems not all of you are. :-o
I can't decide which photo I like best! Definitely gorgeous blooms up close. But I just love the look from down below. If I had such beauties... I'd definitely be showing them off!
Gorgeous!!!!! I had a bright pink B growing up the outside of the house I lived in when I was in south Florida and it was spectacular. But it was just one color, yours are really outstanding.
Can I come live with you? How I would love to be able to sit out on the verandah and see those beautiful bougainvillea every day. What a wonderful riot of colour to wake up in the mornings. Keep posting your garden photographs Chocolate as it's keeping me going now that winter is approaching here and everything is almost monochrome.
Chocolate, those are beautiful. thanks for sharing. our world over here is getting drabber by the day. the grass is still green. lol
Eileen, can I come with you? That veranda of yours looks soo inviting, blooms or no blooms. Please enjoy them a bit extra for me. We've got a brewing storm and I'm not happy about it.
