Its been raining the past 2 or 3 days (Capt's weather is pretty darn close to ours, since he's only a state away lol), and it JUST TURNED TO SNOW! ahhhh!

I know one of my coworkers from Garden Ridge is probably excited, she's from Indonesia and has never seen snow...we say shes nuts for wanting it :D

Bib, I am shocked, shocked to my core to hear a four-letter word coming from you--snow. I saw enough for a life-time or three in upstate NY. I hope your snow event is brief!

We started to get a rain/snow mix here about an hour ago, 6:30 pm. They are saying 1 to 3 inches, but as wet as everything is, I'll be surprised if any of it sticks.

Lol Marlin! I know, I shuddered every time I heard the word this year, but now that its happened, Ill just have to deal ;)

Sorry Debbie, I tried taking pics, but it really didnt stick, just melted into really cold water, and my camera/phone isnt good enough to catch the flakes falling :(

Same here Capt, the bf said 3, another friend said 2-4 depending on where you are. Im shocked how much snow some areas got! My part of town just looks rained on... and actually, it -is- back to raining...

Oh dear me, Bip. Snow already. I hope that it doesn't blow over this way just yet.

I can imagine that your Indonesian colleague would want to see it... Have you ever been to Indonesia? It is a great tropical location to travel to or go on a vacation. The food is good and the other cultural aspects are quite fascinating. If you ever get the chance, by all means go and visit.

Our snow here was a big bust! No accumulation on the ground at all. Some of the cars that sat out had a very slight dusting!

The rain that has been falling here has just turned to snow too! I hope it doesn't add up to anything.

We had a light dusting of snow and sleet... It was lovely while it lasted, but it is all gone. I do need it to wait just a little bit longer though, as my electrician friend still has a lot of work to do on my wiring. And a couple of friends could use his help. It is too cold to put my plants outdoors for a few hours while he finishes the wiring job in my new bedroom, so we will have to juggle things around the house for him to work.

No snow here, and I'm very happy for the fact. :D I hope your colleague will like the white stuff. I know our new neighbour loved it last year. She hadn't seen any before either. She's from the Phillippines.
