    When Christmas is approaching,
it's so hard to be laid back
    when everyone around you
    is a yuletide maniac.

It seems there are a million
little things you have to do.
    Not only must you buy
    some gifts,
    you've gotta wrap'em too...

    There's also hanging lights
ane wreaths and mistletoe as well,
    cause getting lots of smooches
    will make your Christmas swell.

    You can't forget
    the cookies and the nog
    that must be made.
    Without these things the
    holiday would have to be
    delayed.

    And then, of course
    you have those tasty
    chestnuts to be roasted,
    not to mention all
    the parties to attend
    and to be hosted...

There has to be a Christmas tree
    with ornaments upon it.
So if you haven't got one,
we suggest you get right on it.

    It's surely understandable
    to be tired and stressed,
But Christmas will be over soon...
And then you'll get to rest!

    ( Whew! Hope it's a Merry one!)

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" Rich & Donna :smt114

I got breathless just by reading your lovely poem. *phew* I'm so glad we've only got a little bit of decorating and the tree left to do. Oh, and a couple of cookies to make. :D

    Cute poem Donna!
I am trying really hard NOT to be a Yuletide maniac, we're taking the laid back approach to the Christmas season. :D

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!
