spotted some snow drops already and a few trees are already starting to bud :-? :-? a little early no?? anyone else experiencing signs of spring??
Yes Lukey ME!! I have daffodils, crocus, snowdrops and tulips popping up all over the garden - not flowering yet but very early for Scotland and most welcome!! I even see my lilies beginning to put out new shoots and my magnolia has furry leaf buds all over it. :-D
My Crocus are coming up but as of yet no sign of the Daffs. I don't have much luck with Tulips because of our normally warm winters and of course the past two winters have been a Tulip's dream and they could have done very well....maybe I will try again next year.
Spring is only three s_ _ _ storms away. With one deep freeze of below 0°F temperatures. I have not, however, taken the s_ _ _ shovel out of the tool shed. A sign of optimism. Jerry
do we not speak of s_ _ _ jerry?? we haven't had a flake last/this year, which seems strange after last years white out. we got snow as late as easter a couple of years ago so i guess theres still time. :-D

Unusually mild spells followed by short, very cold spells and the lack of snow has me concerned for my plants well being. I think if this pattern continues I will lose a lot of plants
No sign of the ditch lilly's yet and they are usually the first. But I brushed some of the blown in leaves from around the Autumn Joy and there are babys coming off the parent plants. But they are there every winter!
