So what is your favourite season of the year? Each has its ups and downs but it is fun (and sometimes not) to keep up with the constant change. I prefer Summer, quite predictable you may say. I am not really a hot weather person but everything is so gorgeous in Summer it's hard not to like it.
It has to be spring for me - I'm NOT a hot weather person - well coming from Scotland I wouldn't need to be would I? LOL I love it when all the new shoots and buds begin to form and flower and you can hear the dawn chorus every mornng when you awaken. Everything is just bursting with new life.
Spring! Just love to see everything germinating, growing, coming into blossom and bud, and those snowdrops, daffs, bluebells.............ahhhhhh
Winter!!!! I really feel alive in winter, I can open the doors and windows to let the fresh air in. If it is cold, I can put on enough clothes to keep warm. I love the look of the bare trees with their dark brown or black branches against the blue sky, you can see the design of each tree created by the limbs, branches and twigs. Autumn is a real close second for favorite for the obvious reasons...the changing leaves and the crispness in the air leaving the heat of summer behind. Standing on the front porch with a cup of hot coffee greeting the blast of cold air of the first cold front of the season and smelling that special fragrance that comes from the central heating system when the heat comes on for the first time each year. Spring is pretty for it's colors. Summer sucks.
I like all the seasons. But late spring and early summer (before the heat) have to be my favourites. Autumn is nice because it offers relief from the heat. Good riding weather! muddy
I like them all too. But I voted for spring. I can finally be outside without bundeling up in cloths and can be busy. Busy meaning setting in the swing and watching the day go by!
It's hard for me to decide between spring and fall. I enjoy both, but I guess I might choose spring. Everything is so fresh and new and bright. It's still not too hot and we start having more daylight. I do enjoy fall and the colors of autumn and the smell of the cooler days. Enjoy the cooler mornings and a little warming during the day. I chose Spring .I love all of spring but I also love fall.I hate summer here in Tx.I do love it in Montana.If I lived there summer would have been my vote but its just to short of a season there.
I'm with muddybob here, late spring (after the mud has dried) and early summer (before it gets miserable) are the best - lots of flowers, cool breezes and warm sun.
I voted for Spring , because it means we have survived another Winter Sowing all the new seeds , watching the buds burst on the trees , the anticipation of a new season , perfik . 8) Bugs
We laugh in Michigan and say we only have two seasons WINTER and ROAD CONSTRUCTION. Actually I love all of the seasons for different reasons and can't choose a favorite.
