The kittens that belong to our neighbor are spending a lot of time back here now. The one with the white hind feet is Larry and the other 2 are Daryl and Daryl!
I can't imagine why these kittens/cats would spend time with you........however, bribery comes to mind. Soon they may be your cats. Jerry
Jerry, these are barn cats and are expected to earn their keep by being good mousers. Their owner I am sure dosn't feed them. So they come back here. Since I have been feeding their mother, the squirrel and chipmunk population has really declined whether they have been scared off or eaten, I'm not complaining!
Aaaaw, they're cute! I see that people frequently think that hungry cats are better mousers. I don't think so, personally. A cat that's hungry is an impatient cat. A fed cat will have patience and make certain the kill's within reach. I'm glad they earn their keep by keeping your pests away.
Captain, I have to tell you those are no longer your neighbor's cats. They have adopted you and you are now "staff to cats". Dogs have owners, cats have staff. Welcome to the club!
Congratulations Captain, on the addition of three cats to your family. Mice, squirrels, chipmunks and anything else small with four feet will soon be leaving the area. Jerry
