Living near the sea and going out with marine experts I've put a few photos together. It lets you see what there is out there at low tides. Life in the sea. Hope it works.
It works Kildale. I love the sea, and I love your pictures. The stars are my favorite. And I like those patterns on the chitons. How do you read this word? With "k" or "tsh" ??? I wish I could go to the seaside somewhere. The Black Sea is way far and really not that "pretty". Don't think I could take 10 pics of interesting wildlife. Except for, the PEOPLE of course!
Wow, so many different starfish. There are undoubtedly many more. Thank you for the presentation. Questions: Are chitons related to the long extinct Trilobites that died out at the end of the Permian? No Trilobites after the PT boundary. Is the camouflage on the Oregonia gracilis deliberate or an accident? Jerry
What a great way to start the day! Each little section was my favorite.. until I got to the next one. Then the next one! Great photos. I'm ready to head to the beach right now!
Beautiful pictures. Walking alongside the East Coast ocean is one of the joys of my life. Your photographs show some sea life I don't see here. Thanks for posting.
Thank you all for walking along the beach. Not sure about the ancient stuff but the Oregonia gracilis is deliberate.here is one in the hands. crab ( photo / image / picture from Kildale's Garden ) [/img]
I should of mentioned that I have over 180 images in my marine page, thumb nails with larger pictures, just click Marine Life Guide. to see them if you are interested.
